  • Provided (contract) physical ‘onsite’ expertise to manage injuries, claims and safety
  • Regular personal contact with claimants and supervisors established
  • Work capacity of claimants established and business assisted and challenged to find suitable duties
  • Treaters and claims agent involved to establish mutuality and accountability toward achieving outcomes
  • Upskilling (and confidence building) of supervisors through coaching
  • Return to work, retraining and redeployment options pursued until outcomes achieved
RESULTS:
  • Expert (part-time) practitioner integrated into the organisation successfully
  • Majority of “old” cases resolved
  • Early intervention model successfully implemented for “new” injuries
  • Claim rate has dropped
