- General lack of understanding and hence application;
- Unnecessary effort going in when common tasks and equipment meant well constructed risk assessments could apply to up to 200 locations.

- Reviewed methodologies in use;
- Facilitated agreement on a common model;
- Created an inventory of risk assessments required versus competent risk assessments documented;
- Created a 6 month project plan to complete an identified 250 risk assessments that had “common application across a number of stores;
- Provided training in the methodology;
- Resourced conduct, or facilitation and review, of these within timeframe.
