Program Terms and Conditions
1. Registration and Enrolment
1.1 Registration for all Leadership Programs is subject to availability and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.2 A participant's enrolment is not confirmed until Risk Strategies Pty Ltd ("Risk Strategies") has received full payment of the applicable course fee.
1.3 Risk Strategies reserves the right to accept, decline or cancel any registration at its absolute discretion, including where payment has not been received, course prerequisites have not been met, or where it considers that participation may adversely affect the learning environment.
2. Course Fees and Payment
2.1 All course fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST.
2.2 Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise agreed in writing by Risk Strategies.
2.3 Risk Strategies accepts payment via electronic funds transfer (EFT) and credit card.
2.4 An enrolment will not be confirmed until payment has been received in full.
3. Participant Cancellation
3.1 All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to Risk Strategies.
3.2 The following cancellation terms apply:
If you cancel:

more than 14 calendar days before the course commencement date, you will receive a full refund less a $50 administration fee.
-
7–14 calendar days before the course commencement date, you will receive a 50% refund
-
less than 7 calendar days before the course commencement date, no refund will be provided.
3.3 Where a participant is unable to attend, a substitute participant from the same organisation may attend in their place at no additional charge, provided written notification is received prior to the commencement of the course.
4. Transfer of Registration
4.1 Requests to transfer a registration to an alternative course date must be made in writing and are subject to availability and Risk Strategies' approval.
4.2 Risk Strategies may, at its discretion, approve one transfer of a registration to a future scheduled course.
4.3 Any approved transfer must be used within twelve (12) months of the original course date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Non-Attendance
5.1 Participants who fail to attend a course, or who leave the course prior to completion, are not entitled to a refund, credit or transfer.
5.2 Failure to attend does not release the participant or the registering organisation from their obligation to pay the applicable course fees.
6. Course Cancellation or Rescheduling by Risk Strategies
6.1 Risk Strategies reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule any course due to insufficient participant numbers, facilitator illness, venue availability or any circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
6.2 Where Risk Strategies cancels or reschedules a course, participants may elect to:

transfer their registration to another scheduled course; or

receive a full refund of the course fees paid.
6.3 Risk Strategies will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including travel, accommodation, loss of income or other expenses incurred by participants arising from a course cancellation or rescheduling.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All course materials, presentations, workbooks, templates, resources and other content provided during the course remain the intellectual property of Risk Strategies unless otherwise stated.
7.2 Course materials are provided solely for the personal professional development of registered participants.
7.3 Participants must not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, upload, record, transmit or commercially exploit any course materials without the prior written consent of Risk Strategies.
7.4 Audio or video recording of any part of the course is prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing by Risk Strategies.
8. Participant Conduct
8.1 Participants are expected to behave professionally, respectfully and in a manner that contributes to a safe, inclusive and productive learning environment.
8.2 Risk Strategies reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is considered disruptive, offensive, unsafe, discriminatory, harassing or otherwise inappropriate.
8.3 Participants removed from a course under this clause will not be entitled to any refund, transfer or credit.
9. Confidentiality
9.1 Leadership Programs may involve discussion of workplace experiences, business practices and personal perspectives shared by participants.
9.2 Participants agree to respect the privacy of all attendees and to maintain the confidentiality of any personal, commercial or sensitive information disclosed during the course.
9.3 Information shared by participants during discussions, workshops, case studies or activities must not be disclosed, reproduced or used outside the course without the express permission of the individual or organisation concerned.
9.4 This obligation does not apply where disclosure is required by law.
10. Privacy
10.1 Risk Strategies collects and manages personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy legislation.
10.2 Personal information collected during registration will be used for course administration, participant communications, certification, invoicing and related business purposes.
10.3 Where participants have provided consent, Risk Strategies may also use contact details to provide information regarding future training programs, events and related services.
11. Photography, Video and Social Media
11.1 Risk Strategies may take photographs or video recordings during the course for promotional, marketing or educational purposes.
11.2 Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or video recordings must notify Risk Strategies before the commencement of the course.
11.3 Participants must not photograph, film or record other participants, facilitators or course activities without first obtaining the express permission of all individuals who may be identifiable in the image or recording.
11.4 Participants are responsible for ensuring that any photographs or recordings they take and share comply with applicable privacy obligations and do not disclose confidential information discussed during the course.
12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
12.1 Leadership Programs are designed for educational and professional development purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, human resources, workplace relations or other professional advice.
12.2 While Risk Strategies exercises reasonable care in preparing and delivering course content, it does not warrant that the information provided will be suitable for every participant or organisation.
12.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Risk Strategies' liability arising out of or in connection with the course is limited to the amount of the course fees paid by the participant.
13. Australian Consumer Law
13.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Acceptance
By submitting a course registration, the participant and, where applicable, the registering organisation acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
